Overnight Care Assistant

We are looking to add to our Night Team at Ashtree House. As one of our highly valued Night Care Assistants you'll play an important part in ensuring our Residents are safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night. You will be part of a team of three supporting up to 24 Residents. There is a Team Leader on Duty through the Night and a Manager on call at all times. So you are never alone and there is always someone available to support you as well.

You role will be varied, interesting and rewarding from general care right through to specialist Dementia and End of Life care. You will assist Residents with their washing dressing and getting into bed and you will assist the team leader with ensuring Daily Notes are recorded and reported accurately on hand held devices. Prepare the Home for the coming day and ensure choice dignity and independence is repeated at all times.

You will develop relationships with individuals you work with, their families, offering support and reassurance.
