Weekend - Cook - Kitchen Assistant Required - Care Home Cook Required - 28 hours per week

The role is a combined role and the salaried hours are variable according to job role.-nbsp;

Will include every weekend and one day in the week

Reporting to the Home Manager the successful candidate will be an organised and helpful leader in a busy kitchen environment. Working from newly created menus you will be responsible for organising, preparing and serving appetising and freshly produced food, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

The key to your success in this role will be your experience within the food industry, along with the ability to build a strong team spirit in the kitchen.-nbsp;

Experience in a care hospital or school environment would be desirable but not essential.

To apply for the role you should have a minimum qualification NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 in Catering, Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate, knowledge of textured/modified diets is also advantageous.
Or you may have proven experience in a similar setting - commercial kitchen.-nbsp;

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
