Meal times at Ashtree House are of the upmost importance.  We are currently looking to add to our existing team of fantastic cooks.  You will be ensuring our 25 Residents and all staff on duty are provided with a choice of quality meals and snacks throughout the day.  You will be supported by Care, Domestic and Management teams on duty also.

You role will be varied, interesting and rewarding.  You will need to be able to work with the other cooks, planning, ordering and preparing wholesome meals and snacks throughout the day.  Menu's need to be varied and seasonal and however we do have to budget like everyone else right now! 

Choice, dignity, independence and respect is part of everyones daily routine at Ashtree House and as such Residents and staff are able to have a wide variety of meals to suit their own dietary requirements and personal choice.  Options for diabetics, vegetarians and vegans are often required.  Happy & healthy staff is what makes Ashtree House work and as such we do ensure that all staff on duty are offered meals as well, free of charge.  This can mean you are catering for around 32 people per day.

You will expected to develop relationships with individuals you work with, their families, offering support and reassurance.  We provide highly respected Dementia and Residential Care with Residents from Alford, Mablethorpe and Louth. Day/Hours of work: Monday & Friday & every other Saturday & Sunday 7.30am - 3.30pm

24 hours per week - there is also overtime, holiday & sick cover as required

Salary: £9.75 per hour
